What is going on?????

I know I haven't posted lately.  I have several post coming up with pics of kids.  It has been a rough couple weeks and blogging just hasn't been a priority.  To let everyone know, my mother-in-law's husband, Aaron, had his kidney and pancreas transplant last week.  They drove to Duke in the pouring snow and ice.  Everything has gone wonderful!  Everything matched up and went extremely well.  His sugars are staying around 100 now and he is no longer a diabetic.  Wow!  So amazing!  Actually, Aaron was released from the hospital yesterday and they are staying in Durham a little longer to make sure everything is going well.  We will be glad to have them back home soon though!

In other news, my workplace is falling apart it seems!  We have had issues lately but last week our store was broken into and it was pretty bad.  Then on Friday, one of the girls fell in the parking lot.  She broke her ankle so bad that she had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital.  She had to have surgery today for repair of ligaments and to have a metal plate put in at her ankle.  Ouch!  Then yesterday, one of the pharmacist that was suppose to work that day called and said she was chasing her dog and fell and hit her head on a sharp rock in her yard.  She was driving herself to the hospital when she called me.  She ended up getting 11 stitches.  What is up?  Are we just clumsy or are we being attacked?  Anyways, my boss decided that we needed to pray.  Her pastor came over and we circled up and prayed.  I have to say my boss is one of the strongest women I know.  I would have had a meltdown by now.  We are praying that things get better.  I am so thankful for a boss who recognizes that we have to turn to Him and not other people.  Will post more soon!

  1. Please be careful, we don't want you to be hurt. Still waiting to hear from coordinator as to our going home. Two days at the clinic has worn Aaron out completely. I don't think he realized how much it took out of him. See you soon.
